Small hostel with cozy room and nice terrace. Friendly owner and employees. Good place for surfing lessons and meeting other solo travelers. Convenient kitchen, but ants can be a common issue in Costa Rica. Close to Playa Guiones.

The hostel was conveniently located within walking distance of two beautiful beaches, Pelada and Guiones. It was great to have the option to explore both places easily. The open-air kitchen was a highlight, allowing me to cook my own meals and enjoy the fresh air while doing so.
There were some negative aspects to my stay. The cleanliness of the place was not up to par, and it seemed like it hadn't been attended to regularly.

We had an amazing time at this surf camp. the people were super friendly and welcoming, making our stay very enjoyable. the yoga and surf classes were great and added to the laid-back vibe of the place. the owner was really helpful and gave us an awesome surf lesson. Plus, we even got to see whales up close while surfing!
We felt so comfortable during our stay that we have no complaints at all.

The hostel had a great open-air kitchen which was awesome for cooking meals. Also, the location was convenient as it was within walking distance to both Pelada and Guiones, making it easy to explore different beaches. Another advantage was that clean sheets and towels were provided upon arrival, which was a nice touch.
The room we rented was quite small and had a dark atmosphere. Additionally, the front door opened directly onto the street, which made us feel a bit unsafe.

Great for women traveling alone, with a friendly and supportive owner, Mekki, who provides reasonably priced surf lessons. the hostel also has a nice terrace with a kitchen where you can enjoy cooking while immersing yourself in the peaceful sounds of the surrounding jungle.
Felt like a home away from home, where nothing was too much trouble.

We had an incredible experience staying at a surf camp near Playa Guiones. the hostel had a laid-back vibe and was the perfect place to meet other solo travelers. the owner, Mekki, was not only friendly but also an amazing surf teacher. We took lessons at a more reasonable price compared to other surf shops in the area. the hostel facilities were fantastic, with a kitchen on the terrace where we could cook while surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. The small pool was also appreciated by some of the other guests. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 🌟.
